Touchstone Energy Camp

Southern Indiana Power sponsors local 6th grade students to attend Touchstone Energy Camp at YMCA's Camp Tecumseh in Brookston, Ind. This event included three fun-filled days of traditional sleep-away summer camp activities like zip lining, horseback riding, rock climbing, archery, swimming and campfires. But at Touchstone Energy® Camp, campers also learned about important topics such as alternative energy, electric safety and the impact their cooperative makes in the community.

The Touchstone Energy Camp program was developed by a committee of electric cooperative employees from Indiana. The camp is funded in part by Indiana’s electric cooperatives, Hoosier Energy, Wabash Valley Power, Indiana Electric Cooperatives and other industry partners.

Be on the lookout for the 2018 application at the end of the year!  (Student's parent or guardian must be a member of Southern Indiana Power.)
